Náttúran is an eco lodge nestled deep in the Tasmanian forest. The name “Náttúran” is an Icelandic word for “nature”. The name was inspired by viewing eco friendly hotels on the outskirts of volcanic activity, surrounded by crystal clear hot pools. The lodge is aimed at eco conscious travellers who wish to escape and explore.
The branding design primarily uses a green, which references the eucalyptus leaves found in the Australian bush, while secondary colours of black and dark grey reference the rocky volcanic landscape of Iceland. The overall design was kept minimalistic as to not distract from the bold imaginary on the reverse of the business cards. There are aesthetic influences from Scandinavian design and the triangle logo references the A-frame shape of the cabins.
The photos used on the business cards are from my personal photography collection shot in Tasmania.
